		I hope to contribute to the MIOD mission and objectives in the following ways: Manage the affairs and long-term success of the institute. Approve the strategy of the institute, business and financial planning, and hold the executive to account and ensure financial and risk stewardship Ensure open and transparent engagement with all stakeholders when carrying out its duties Promote best practices of and raise the standards on governance, integrity, professional skill, and knowledge on the part of directors and equivalent office holders of private and public organizations.
